While surfing the World Wide Web, I ran upon some information concerning the United Nation Millennium Development Goals. I must confess that I did not have time to read and understand all the material I came upon, but I could not resist from making my comments noted.

A portion of one of the article read as follows:

At their 2005 Gleneagles summit, the Group of 8 industrialized nations predicted that their
commitments, along with those of other donors, would double official development assistance to Africa by 2010. Excluding the substantial debt relief to the region, notably for Nigeria, preliminary data show that bilateral official development assistance to Africa rose by 9
per cent in real terms in 2007. Despite this increase, an even more rapid rise in aid to Africa is necessary to reach the Gleneagles projection for 2010.

Who Kidding Whom?
I do not need a PhD in Economics to know that the Group of 8 industrialized nations or anyone else commitment to donating such a great deal of money to undeveloped Countries will be attainable by 2015; with the rise of inflation and all kinds of economic crisis. This is why I have my doubts about the International Community and the United Nations Policies toward Africa. Why don’t the United Nations take a stand that will make Africa independent of having to beg for Foreign Aid like a dog.

It is my understanding that one of the Millennium Development Goals - is to End Poverty by 2015 and another is to Develop a Global Partnership For Development. After reading the information on the Millennium Development Goals, I am more convince of the recommendation I mention in a previous e-mail to you dated a few moths ago.

As a lasating solution to Africa’s problems; I can not understand why the United Nations have not DEMANDED that one of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals does not require that Africa be declared as a united government - an United States of Africa. THIS IS THE REAL SOLUTION TO AFRICA PROBLEMS. The mere fact that Africa become an United States of Africa will give Africans pride, and more enthusiasm - to do more - and achieve more. It will give them the insensitive to achieve. Is this - what everyone is afraid of? Even African Leaders - themselves seem to be afraid of succeeding.

I hate to say this, but it seems that the United Nations have more estate in Africa not become a stabilized Country as those who oppose Africa success. Everybody knows that AFRICA CAN NOT SUCEED AS INDIVIDUAL COUNTRIES. Why can’t they see this. Foreign Aid does not do anything but corrupt. Even I can see this. It appears that it is more to Africans advantage to take Foreign aid money under the table than to build the infrastructure of their Nation. I guest that is why everyone is so willing to give Foreign aid to Africa. Foreign aid have not built anything. It has not in the past and it will not in the future. When Foreign aid start building the infrastructures of Africa that will probably the day Africa never receive any more.

And you know as well as I that Africa is capable of providing for itself. This can be achieved. It not nearly as difficulty as you or some else would like for me to believe. It is as simple as on - two- three. YES simple as - one - two - three. It can be accomplished at the upcoming African Union Summit 26 January 2009 - 3rd February 2009 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

First: Demand that the Africa Union, it Members, and Africans Leaders declared Africa a united Government - an United States of Africa and enforceable by Africon.

. Put into effect and implement all of Africa’s Regional Development Plans; whether they a complete or not.
. Implement a Monetary Policy
. Implement anything else needed to complete the transition of Africa into an united government.
. How much money doe the United Nation spend in Military hardware to support and implement military projects in Africa?
. How much aid money the United Nations spend for Medicine, HIV/Aid treatment in Africa?
. How much money does the United Nation spend to feed the poor in Africa?
. Wouldn’t it make more sense to demand that Africa unite as an United States of Africa and pay for its programs with its own resources? Implement fair trade agreement across the board to assure that Africa gets a fair price for it goods. Wouldn’t this make more sense to let Africa pay it own way. As a United Government - it can. And you know it can.

“Something stink in Demark” so the saying goes. Or, I smell a rat, or whatever. Things begin to smell like economic slavery or Colonialism.

As an United States of Africa - Africa can pay it own way. Why is this so hard to see? I could understand it if it was only the International Community and the United Nations; but the African Leaders are just as guilty.

Thank you,
